Hey love…I did a thing and I have to tell you about it!!
With fall officially here, I have been absolutely obsessed with the dark red hair colors I’ve been seeing everywhere!! I sat on it for a while, but I finally decided…it was time for a change!!
Now, I’ve gone red before!! After my divorce, I tried it, but it didn’t really feel like me!! Looking back, I think it was the shade and honestly the fact that it bled onto everything!! My pillows, my towels, you name it!!
This time I wanted something different!! I contemplated going to a salon, but who really wants to spend $300 on hair color?? So I decided to try it myself!! I already do my own roots every three weeks, so I figured…why not??
I will be honest…I was terrified!! I was convinced it wouldn’t show up against my dark brown hair, or it would be too red, or not enough!! But I went for it anyway!!
Best $20 I have ever spent!! The deep red pops beautifully in sunlight and I am completely in love!!
